I was born in London but moved to North America at the age of ten, first to Canada and then to the US. It was here, in New York City, that I received my initial training as an artist. After leaving Art school I spent a number of years as a graphic designer, both in in the Staes and later on my return to England in 1979. However, it wasn’t until my move to Somerset that I began painting full time, supplementing my income with teaching.

I exhibit my work in various galleries throughout the Southwest as well as contributing to national exhibitions such as the Discerning Eye and the National original Print Exhibitions in London.

My practice is very varied, utilising many different processes in my exploration of the environment. Printmaking, sculpture and painting form the main cores of my work, although I have also made videos and worked with installation.
